Dr. Deepthi Telikicherla

Director, Research and Global Strategy

Dr. Deepthi Telikicherla has worked across biomedical research, STEM education, and educational technology, with a consistent focus on making quality learning accessible at scale. Her earlier contributions include developing AI-enabled tools for science education and designing curricula that translate complex knowledge into forms usable by diverse learners.


She is currently the Director of Research and Global Partnerships at Ek Kadam Aur Foundation. In this capacity, she leads the Foundation’s work on inclusive education for children with complete visual impairment. Her responsibilities include building and evaluating educational models that integrate digital literacy, mentorship, and assistive technology, as well as conducting longitudinal studies that generate evidence for effective program design.


Alongside research, she drives the Foundation’s international partnerships and collaborations, ensuring that its work in India is informed by, and contributes to, the global discourse on inclusive education. Her role brings together education research and strategic engagement, with the objective of developing sustainable, evidence-based models that can be adapted and scaled for underserved communities.
